General Rental Information

RENTAL DETAILS:

-     Our standard rental period spans 4-5 days, with prop collection and return available exclusively on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

-     Pick up and drop off location is at 15, Jalan PJS 11/18, Bandar Sunway, 46150 Subang Jaya, Selangor.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:

-     A security deposit equivalent to double the rental amount is required upon prop collection, payable in cash, TnG, or via bank transfer. This deposit is fully refundable upon the timely return of props in their original condition.

DAMAGE/LOSS POLICY:

-     Please ensure all rental items are returned in their original packaging.

-     Missing or damaged props will incur charges at their full retail value, deducted from the security deposit.

-     Stained fabric will be subject to a cleaning fee of RM10 per piece (applicable to all fabrics, backdrop cloth, table runners, batik cloth, and shawls).

CHANGE OF DATE:

-     Requests for date changes should be submitted at least 10 days prior to the scheduled collection date and are subject to availability. Each order is permitted one date change.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

-     All cancellations must be made in writing to Studio Monnay.

-     Cancellations made more than 7 days before the collection/event date will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid.

-     Cancellations made less than 7 days before the collection/event date will not receive a refund.

-     No notice of cancellation given or no show on the collection/event date will result in no refund.

  • Is the camera/lens included in the rental fee?
    No, you need to bring your own camera and lens.
  • Are all the props and equipment free to use?
    Absolutely yes, you hear us right! Please return them to their original space before leaving; Otherwise, a RM80 surcharge will apply for untidy spaces.
  • Will I be charged for any damage to equipment or props?
    Yes, you are fully responsible for any damage during the shoot, and charges will apply accordingly.
  • Can I bring food and drinks?
    Certainly, but kindly ensure to clean up afterward. A cleaning fee of RM80 will be charged if the area is not left in an orderly condition.
  • Do you provide photographer?
    Yes, with additional charges. Please contact us for more details.
  • Can I come in early for preparation and makeup?
    Yes, you can arrive 15 minutes in advance for preparation, subject to availability. Please notify us in advance.
  • How does extending my booking time work?
    Every additional hour is charged at RM200. However, extension depends on availability, and if none is available, you may be asked to vacate.
  • Can I make booking outside your operation hours?
    Yes, please reach out to us directly to coordinate.
  • Why is there a security deposit of RM500?
    The security deposit is collected upfront to safeguard against potential damages or neglect during the rental period. It is fully refundable if everything is in order, upholding the rental process's integrity. For more information, please read our T&C.
  • What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?
    You may reschedule with a request made at least 3 days in advance, subject to availability. A 50% security deposit forfeiture applies for rescheduling with less than 3 days' notice. For cancellation, a 50% security deposit forfeiture applies for cancellations made at least three (3) days before the booking date. For no-shows or cancellations with less than three (3) days' notice, the full security deposit will be forfeited. For more information, please refer to our T&C.
